ESC Publications Committee

2024-2026

Purpose of the committee

The ESC Publications Committee (ESCPC) is composed of all ESC journal editors-in-chief (EiC) and takes responsibility for the reception, selection, and editing of scientific content published under the name of the ESC in academic journal or educational book format (print and online). The ESCPC evaluates and proposes publications that will help further the mission of the ESC. Publication editors-in-chief make all reasonable efforts to ensure the scientific accuracy, probity, and currency of published content.
The ESCPC advocates the ethical publication of scientific and educational content throughout the ESC publication portfolio and adheres to the recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).  The ESCPC strives to encourage and implement gender and geographical diversity in all its editorial boards, sub-committees, and elections.
