Associations

The ESC is unique in bringing together clinicians, scientists, nurses and allied professionals that work across the full spectrum of cardiology.

The seven ESC Associations are at the hub of this activity, creating science, education and tools to support their members and those who work within their topic or area of expertise.

Each Association is managed by an elected board, voted by their members. They run annual congresses, have an official peer reviewed journal and take part in all ESC activities, from the creation of Clinical Practice Guidelines and registries, to running educational courses and advocating for issues ranging from prevention and patient data laws to medical device regulation.
