About the Community

The ESC Young Community represents a wide range of specialties in cardiology at each stage of your career. The ESC Board Committee for Young Cardiovascular Professionals is here to support the community and shape the future of young cardiovascular professionals.

By representing 42% of ESC members, the ESC Young Community holds a significant role within the broader ESC Community.

Diversity is our strength: All scientists, clinicians, nurses and allied professionals under 40 or in training are part of the ESC Young Community!

The ESC Young Community boasts an active and influential network, with over 300 representatives globally. This dynamic community's impact is evident in major ESC events, as demonstrated by the presence of under 40s constituting 33% of onsite delegates at the ESC Congress 2023.
