Before you travel

Visa requirements and invitation letter

A customised invitation letter for visa purposes is available for delegates with confirmation that registration has been paid in full.

The ESC has selected several hotels with negotiated rates, either close to the venue or in the city centre with easy access. Take advantage of booking online with our official housing agency.

To personalise your programme, we recommend you sign in first (in the top right corner of the screen) with your My ESC login and password.

To include the sessions you don’t want to miss in your personal programme, click on the bookmark. The session will be saved in “My Programme”.

Transoesophageal Echocardiography (TOE) Workshops

These workshops are designed for delegates (either in training or consultants) who wish to improve their knowledge and skills in 2D and 3D echocardiography. These workshops will also serve those who aim to achieve EACVI Certification in TOE. See the schedule of the workshops and pre-register (on a first-come-first-served basis).

Print your badge

To ensure you can access the congress and start enjoying the sessions without delay, your congress badge must be printed in advance, in colour, and presented at the congress entrance. Otherwise, you may be invited to print it in the Registration Area and face delays entering the congress.

Please note: digital versions on mobile phones, tablets and other devices will not be accepted. 

An email will be sent to all delegates at the end of November which includes a link to print their badge.

You can also access this link through your My ESC account. Just go to Congresses > My congress activity to come > Manage and print your badge from the top right of your screen.

If you are an EACVI Member, we strongly recommend that you print your badge in colour to make you easily recognisable as an EACVI Member.

The Inaugural Session will take place on Wednesday, 11 December at 18:00 CET in room Beethoven, followed by a networking reception.

Cloakroom

Cloakroom facilities are available within the venue in the registration area.

Cloakroom fee: €3 per item / €5 per piece of luggage.

First aid

Participants needing non-urgent medical treatment should contact ESC Staff in the Registration Area.
