Childcare

The EACVI is delighted to offer all parents a professional childcare service for the duration of the congress. Make the most of your attendance while your child(ren) is well cared for and entertained at the Congress venue.The service will be provided by KIDS Betreuung a trusted provider of childcare services to events that has been working across conferences and congress for over 10-years.

Activities

The KIDS Betreuung team will provide large and small toys, highchairs and tables, cozy corner with blankets and books, painting and craft items, Board games, wooden building blocks, car carpet with cars, doll things with children's kitchen and hygiene supplies for the toddlers, small bouncy castle, table football, sleeping mattresses, possibly outdoor toys, decoration.

Adapted activities for the kids will also be proposed such as handicrafts, face painting, reading hour.

While your child is being looked after, you can take part in the congress programme with peace of mind. 
All KIDS supervisors have many years of professional experience as pedagogical specialists.

German and English spoken experienced staff look after the children lovingly and offer various age-appropriate activities.

KIDS Betreuung will offer childcare services from 11 to 13 December 2024 according to the schedule below.
The programme is for children ages 0 to 14 years old.

Payment & registration

To guarantee a place at the creche, parents are encouraged to pre-register. While we will endeavour to accommodate on-site registrants, we cannot promise availability due to pre-booked staff levels. Full payment is required upon booking.

The fee is €30 (incl. VAT) per half-day block & per child. The opening hours have been adapted to the congress programme schedule:

• Wednesday, 11 December from 09:00 to 13:30
• Wednesday, 11 December from 14:00 to 19:00
• Thursday, 12 December from 08:00 to 13:00
• Thursday, 12 December from 13:30 to 18:00
• Friday, 13 December from 08:00 to 13:15
• Friday, 12 December from 13:45 to 17:00

Registration term & conditions 

• Parents are responsible for notifying us at least 8 days before the event of any special needs, medical conditions and/or non-mainstream conditions of any of the children. In extreme conditions, if we do not have enough notice or we are generally unable to find specialist staff to care for the child, for the welfare of the child we reserve the right to refuse admission to that child.
• KIDS Betreuung has a policy of 48 hours of non-admittance for sickness and tummy upsets.
• Common surfaces, toys, and equipment will be disinfected frequently throughout the event

Cancellation

For us to ensure a full and dedicated service, cancellations must be made before 10 November 2024 for a full refund. Cancellations made after that date will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

From 24 November, no refunds will be issued.

Data Privacy

The information collected is subject to data processing and storage. The recipient of the data is the European Society of Cardiology, the childcare supplier KIDS Betreuung and ESC Staff for logistics organisation.
 Your data will only be used for the organisation of the meetings in reference in this online form. Your data will be kept for a duration of 2 years.

In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, and for information, ESC has appointed a Data Protection Officer that you can reach at dpo@escardio.org.
