  • To discuss established and emerging models across university and clinical settings
  • To highlight strategies for PhD-prepared cardiovascular nurses and allied health professionals to position their academic training and leverage their clinical expertise to prepare for embedded scientist roles
  • To explore challenges and opportunities to develop, implement and measure the impact of nurse and allied health embedded scientists
  • To outline strategies to demonstrate the value and impact of these unique roles and inspire others to pursue
  • To propose a draft ACNAP statement to guide, support and strengthen the role of embedded cardiovascular nurse scientists, and support new generation of nurses to consider this career trajectory
