ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function

Every odd year, the ESC Working Group on Myocardial Function co-organises a meeting with the ESC Working Group on Cellular Biology of the Heart: The Varenna Joint Meeting.

Traditionally held in this beautiful Italian city, on the lack of Como, this joint meeting gather early career researchers and outstanding international speakers to exchange in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

The Working Group provides a platform for both basic and clinically-oriented scientists with interests in any aspect of myocardial function, including molecular, cellular and integrative mechanisms underlying physiological function and malfunction of the heart.
