The latest science at your disposal

• Pick up your complimentary copy of the 2024 ESC Pocket Guidelines, from Friday, 30 August.
• Scan the QR codes in the lounge to explore ESC journals.

Live streaming space

• Settle in to the comfortable and private screening area where you can watch key sessions taking place in the Main Auditorium.

Reserved seating in the Main Auditorium

• Reserved seats are available for FESC. Just look for the specially marked carpet and FESC logo.

Newly elected FESC

• Join other newly elected FESC from across the world for a Welcoming Cocktail on Friday, 30 August in the FESC Lounge from 16:30 to 17:15.

• Receive a special welcome from ESC President, Franz Weidinger, at the Inaugural Session on Friday, 30 August at 17:30.

Be sure to remember

Go green: Bring your reusable water bottle

With plenty of sessions and networking, ensure you stay hydrated during the congress. There are water fountains throughout the congress centre for refilling your bottle.

Print your FESC gold badge before you leave home

To ensure you can access the ESC Congress venue as quickly and easily as possible, your congress badge must be printed (preferably in colour) in advance and presented at the congress entrance.

Please note: digital versions of the badge on mobile phones, tablets and other devices will NOT be accepted.

Your badge will be available from 10 August in your My ESC account. Just log in, go to Congresses > My congress activity to come > Manage. 

Collect your gold FESC lanyard 

On entering the congress centre you can collect your FESC lanyard at the FESC Lounge. 

Where to find the FESC Lounge

The FESC Lounge is located in the Lounge and Exchange Area just after the Welcome Area.

Your dedicated FESC Team will be delighted to welcome you at the following times:

FESC Lounge opening hours

• Friday, 30 August: 08:00–18:00
• Saturday, 31 August: 08:00–18:00
• Sunday, 1 September: 08:00–18:00
• Monday, 2 September: 08:00–17:00

As a FESC you may also freely use the ESC Professional Members Lounge. This may be convenient if you need to meet with an ESC Professional Member who is not a FESC yet.

The ESC Professional Members Lounge is located in the Lounge and Exchange Area, next to the FESC Lounge. Please show your FESC badge to enter.

Exclusive Members’ Event before the congress opening

We’re organising a special event to give you the chance to meet up with old friends and make new ones, just before this year’s congress starts. 

ESC Professional Members and Fellows of the ESC are invited to Meet & Connect over drinks and canapés, plus find out about the great new ESC Mentoring Programme. Pre-registration is required, and space is limited.
