Transportation from the airport to VIECON/Messe Wien
Vienna International Airport, Wien-Schwechat, is located just outside the city of Vienna, a few kilometers southeast of the Schwechat suburb.
Airport Train – CAT
The Airport is located just outside the city of Vienna, a few kilometers southeast of the Schwechat suburb but the city centre can be easily reached:
With a travel time of only 16 minutes, the CAT is the fastest non-stop connection from the airport to the city center of Vienna. The City Airport Train operates daily from 05.36 to 23.36. The City Air Terminal is just 10 minutes from St. Stephan’s Cathedral at Wien Mitte station, which can be reached easily by tram, underground, bus or taxi.

Getting to the VIECON/Messe Wien from Wien Mitte Station
Take the S Bahn 2 direction Wolkersdorf and get out at Praterstern stop. From here it is a 17-minute walk to the congress venue. You can also change to the U bahn 2 direction Seestadt and it is only one station away: Messe Prater. From here it is a 3-minute walk.
Regional Buses
Vienna Airport Lines (Postbus) connects Vienna Airport with the main Vienna transport hubs. The 3 Vienna Airport Lines serve all of Vienna’s underground railway lines and also Wien West and Wien Meidling railway stations. Buses to the city centre (Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz) run 24 hours a day; journey time is 20 minutes. See the airport map to locate the departure points at the airport.
Taxi
Taxi stands are located outside the arrival terminals. It takes around 20 minutes to the city centre.

From the North
Follow the motorway Donauuferautobahn A22 – exit at Reichsbrücke direction Zentrum – after the bridge, turn left at the first traffic light into Vorgartenstraße and drive to the junction to Ausstellungsstraße.

Bike rental
WienMobil bicycles are the new bike sharing offer in Vienna. The easy bicycle rental system brings locals and visitors through Vienna in a flexible, sustainable, and environmentally conscious way.
With the rental bicycles from WienMobil, cycling in Vienna is now also a spontaneous activity. The rental bikes of the new bike-sharing provider are available in all 23 Viennese districts around the clock, seven days a week. With more than 3,000 bicycles and 185 fixed as well as 50 digital stations (e.g. for temporary events). The fixed stations are reserved exclusively for rental bicycles and can be identified by a red information pylon.
Bike racks are provided in front of the congress venue.

After the free registration, you can scan the QR-Code using the app of the operator (Next Bike app) or the WienMobil app or rent via the hotline at +43 1 385 01 89. The frame lock opens automatically.
Payment is by Visa/Mastercard, direct debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Billing is by the half hour. The standard tariff is €0.75 per 30 minutes.
