Dear Members,
Our working group recently hosted our first “Talk”, which I am pleased to report was a success, with several hundred audience members, and many eager questions. For those of you who would like to view or re-view these two talks by Dunja Aksentijević (UK) and Christoph Maack (DE) on the topic of “Metabolic aspects of heart failure”, they are now available online.
We hope to continue these sessions as occasional talks on important topics in future. While such online presentations are certainly convenient and, I hope, interesting, I think most of us still hunger for the convivial interaction of in-person conferences. So I hope to see you in Budapest for the Frontiers in CardioVascular Biomedicine conference.
