The 38th Meeting of the European Section of the International Society for Heart Research (ISHR) was successfully held from 11 to 14 June 2024, in Toulouse, France. The session that focused on "Translation of Cardiac Regenerative Therapies" was a resounding success and included nucleus members of the CARE working group. It was chaired by Serena Zacchigna from Italy and Jérôme Roncalli from France and featured a series of insightful keynote presentations by speakers:

- Clinical Translation of Gene Therapies for Cardiac Repair Monika Gladka, The Netherlands
- Non-coding RNA Therapeutics for Cardiac Regeneration Mauro Giacca, UK
