The Press Programme for ESC Congress – the world’s largest cardiovascular event – is revealed today.
Journalists from around the globe are invited to the Opening Press Conference on Saturday 29 August and four embargoed Hot Line Press Conferences during ESC Congress 2020. The online events will bring the hottest science in cardiovascular disease to you – wherever you are – and give you the chance to quiz the investigators about their research.
In addition: press releases from the extensive abstract programme, covering a broad range of topics. Among them, the connection between heart attacks and mental health, yoga and the heart, vaccinations, and burnout in nurses. Also: Is napping good or bad for health? Do partners help or hinder weight loss efforts? And much, much more.
Professor Sarah Clarke, Chairperson of the ESC Media Committee, said: “Mark your calendar and join us for this year’s press programme showcasing cutting-edge scientific findings in cardiovascular disease. We have a story for you – be it on lifestyle, treatments, or diagnosis.”
Stay tuned for the scientific programme of this truly unique digital experience. Featuring a dedicated COVID-19 track with first-hand experience from international experts.
For the first time in its history, ESC Congress is available at no charge.
Please note that only accredited Media may access embargoed press conferences and other material.
Press releases will be available here when the embargo lifts.
For all studies, including late breaking science, the embargo is lifted at the start of the scientific presentation.
