ACNAP Nominating Committee Elections 2024-2026

Responsabilities

The ACNAP Nominating Committee is responsible for nominating candidates for the positions of all elected members of the next ACNAP Board and for members of the next Nominating Committee. More specifically:

- Preparing the call for applications and defining potential selection criteria
- Evaluating the candidates and proposing all suitable candidates for each position
- Ensuring a good balance of candidates by taking into consideration experience, geographical
representation, gender and profession
- Ensuring full transparency of decision-making in the ACNAP election process

Candidate Eligibility 

• Candidates must be ACNAP Members holding voting rights at the date of application: candidates must be ACNAP Silver Members for at least one month prior to application and still be a Silver Member at the time of application.
• Candidates must have prior experience within the ACNAP Board or Committee.
• Healthcare Industry employees are not eligible to be members of the ACNAP Board.

Additional criteria

• All members of the ACNAP Nominating Committee must sign the ESC/ACNAP oath of office prior to taking their functions.
• Elected officers of ACNAP are expected to adhere to the ESC Declaration and Management of Conflict of Interest Policy.
• All ACNAP volunteers must submit their annual Declaration of Interest in a timely manner.

•    Jennifer Jones, Ireland
•    Rani Khatib, United Kingdom 

Timelines

• 10 June – 16 July: Application period
• 17 July – 31 July: Review of applications
• 1 August – 15 August: Online voting*

*Only ACNAP Members having settled their dues by 1 July 2024 (one month ahead of the electronic voting) and who are still members on that date have voting rights.
