The Journal
The EHJ-QCCO, is peer-reviewed journal of the European Society of Cardiology publishing cardiovascular outcomes research and is closely allied to the Brussels-based European Heart Health Institute (EHHI).
Aims and Scope
The European Heart Journal – Quality of Care and Clinical Outcomes (EHJ-QCCO) is an international journal of the European Society of Cardiology dedicated to publishing original research and topical reviews from health scientists around the world, focusing on quality of care as it affects cardiovascular outcomes in hospitals, as well as at national and international levels.
The Person
The successful candidate shall be a highly regarded, international expert in quality of care as it applies to the cardiovascular healthcare field, with wide experience as an author, reviewer and senior editor roles. The candidate is also recognised for his/her team leading ability and ability to build other successful working relationships.
An enthusiastic clinical researcher in the field of quality of care (as it affects cardiovascular outcomes in hospitals) who is a widely published author in top-tier journals and who has extensive experience of being a journal editor would make an ideal candidate, reflecting the role of EHJ-QCCO to help advance the global cardiovascular health community’s knowledge in all aspects of quality of care.
The successful candidate must also be an ESC Member, ideally a fellow of the ESC (FESC).
