Modern medicine and technologies are helping us live more comfortably and longer, with fewer young lives lost. However, this means more medical care is needed. To ensure continued progress is made, we must effectively manage cardiovascular risks and embrace new technologies and treatments.

This is why, in the 2025 edition, the focus will be on ‘Risk factor realities in 2025’.

During the congress, we will take an honest look at the current state of cardiovascular risk in our society.

Identify major barriers to effective implementation of guideline treatments, and explore innovative solutions for a healthier future.

We will delve into some key areas, such as:

• The barriers in everyday clinical routine and in society
• New technologies and pharmacologic developments we can use
• How risk profiles have changed in the last years
• Main risk factors to look at for
• How screening and risk estimation algorithms can help

All of us at the European Association of Preventive Cardiology are thrilled to begin this journey to the 2025 edition in Milan, and we encourage you to share your latest scientific findings and create networking opportunities.
