It is also possible to land at Pisa International Airport “Galileo Galilei” and travel by shuttle train to the Florence Central Railway Station in 50 minutes. These trains run hourly. From the airport to the city centre
The airport is located just outside the city of Florence. Public transportation as well as taxis can be used to get to the centre of Florence.
- By tram: There is a direct connection from Florence airport to the city centre with the line T2 - Vespucci (20 minutes). The tramway represents a comfortable, affordable and ecological way of connection.

- By taxi: all drivers charge a flat fee of €30 (daytime; prices are higher in the evening) to the city centre (20 minutes approximately outside rush hour).
By train
