Dear members of the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology,
It is with great pleasure that I send you an update on the activities of our working group (WG) along with a selection of recommended readings on various topics.
Our WG contributed to an important Consensus Document that was led by the Council for Cardiology Practice and focused on the definition, assessment, and the clinical applications of frailty in cardiovascular medicine. Congratulations to all the participants.
“Back to the Rhythm” for EHRA 2022 (3 to 5 April in Copenhagen, Denmark and online). More news concerning the EHRA Congress 2022, and the “Best oral e-Cardiology Award session” on the next WG’s newsletter.
ESC Preventive Cardiology 2022 (7-9 April) is an online only event not to be missed.
The Frontiers in CardioVascular Biomedicine (FCVB) 2022 meeting is planned to be a fully in-person event from 29 April to 01 May 2022, in Budapest, Hungary. This event is designed to be cross-disciplinary to emphasise underlying scientific developments important to cardiovascular biology and to highlight interconnections with new areas of research.
The Computing in Cardiology (CinC) conference 2022 (September, 4-7) will be organized in Tampere, Finland. The new CinC 2022 website is up and abstract submission is open until April 15th. The WG e-Cardiology ESC – CinC: Clinical Needs Translational Award (CTA) will also happen again this year; this is a team-based award for submissions of strong translational impact.
The European Heart Journal - Digital Health is an Open Access, peer-reviewed journal, with a specific focus on digital health in cardiovascular medicine, connecting physicians with biomedical engineers, researchers, and allied health professionals. Submit online.
