The Opening Press Conference with the ESC President and the Congress Programme Chair kicks off tomorrow, Thursday 26 August, at 12:00 CEST, with a preview of what’s to come.

Also on Thursday – three embargoed press conferences:

• Studies from the extensive abstract programme featured in:
  • “Preventing Sudden Cardiac Death” at 15:00 CEST.
  • “Heart Health Made Easy” at 17:00 CEST.
• The first Hot Line Press Conference at 19:00 CEST.

Three more embargoed Hot Line Press Conferences take place on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 19:00 CEST.

Press conferences give journalists a first look at highly awaited results from major trials and studies of interest to the general public.
