Johannes Grand, is a medical doctor, researcher and clinician, holding a PhD, a master of public health. Specializing in acute and intensive care cardiology, he has made notable contributions in the areas of cardiac arrest and acute heart failure. His work is characterized by a strong focus on clinical research and pragmatic clinical trials.
Anna Mara Scandroglio, is the head of the cardiothoracic intensive care unit and of the advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program of IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy. Her clinical and scientific activities are focused on critically ill patients affected by advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and severe respiratory failure and on the use of extracorporeal life supports, especially ECMO and ventricular assist devices.
Kurt Huber, MD, FESC, FACC, FAHA, is director of the Department of Cardiology and intensive Care Medicine at the Clinic Ottakring, director of the Department of Cardiology at the Clinic Hietzing and Dean of Research and Professor for Acute and Interventional Cardiology at the Sigmund Freud University, Medical School, Vienna, Austria. He is an interventional cardiologist with over 35 years of experience.
Christophe Vandenbriele is a cardiologist and cardiac intensive care at the Heart Center OLV Aalst (Belgium) and at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals in London. He was trained in cardiac intensive care, in particular mechanical circulatory support.
Gal Tsaban is currently working as an advanced echocardiography fellow at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA. He has completed his Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine training at Soroka University Medical Center in Beersheba, Israel.
Umit Yasar Sinan is working as Associated Professor of Cardiology at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology. He is also an academician at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa Institute of Cardiology.
